Lesson Rates & Policies
Payment is due by the last business day of the month for the upcoming month of lessons. Customers paying in advance will receive a savings of $5 per lesson.

All of our Lesson Instructors abide by the same policies and rates.
Absentee Policy: A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for an absence to be excused. Students (or parents of students) should contact their lesson instructor directly to inform them that a lesson will be missed. All lessons cancelled with less than 24 hour notice will be unexcused and payment will be required.
Lesson Schedules: Lessons are scheduled on a weekly basis directly with the lesson instructor and instructors should be informed directly of any cancellations or changes in the student's schedule.
Trial Lesson: New students can
receive a 30-minute trial lesson upon request for a fee of $32.
Store Closings/Inclement Weather: In the event that private lessons are cancelled due to an extreme circumstance, your instructor will be notified by David French Music and the instructor will contact you. Lessons paid for in advance will be credited toward an upcoming lesson.
Referral Program: We offer a complimentary 30 minute lesson for you and your referred friend or family member after the referred student has completed and paid for a full month of lessons.
David French Music is closed on the following holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Martin Luther King, Jr
- President's Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Columbus Day
- Thanksgiving and day after
- Christmas
